Why did Brightwave create LiveTime Learning?

A word from Brightwave's Managing Director, Charles Gould:

"LiveTime Learning exists because we wanted to bridge a gap.

On one side lay the efficiency, effectiveness, and clear business impact of e-learning. On the other the personal interactivity and social dynamics of live training.

Yet, in our eyes, nothing on the market met both these challenges.

LiveTime Learning is our solution. It provides expert live training, while cutting out all of the extras – training rooms, hotels, travel, bookings, organising staff...and so on.

From the start our aim was to create a system that:

  • Is quick and easy to access via the web
  • Does not eat into busy schedules
  • Is low-cost and low-hassle
  • Offers the ability to track, record and review staff usage
  • Provides core generic skills training
  • Allows for “little and often” learning
  • Builds more advanced skills over time


Best practice learning

LiveTime may feel like something innovative and different – and it is – but really it draws on solid best practice education theory.

For example, it supports the “little and often” approach recommended by many education specialists and backed up by our years of e-learning experience.
