Learning at Work is a new conference for learning and training professionals in large enterprises and public sector organisations. Brightwave is sponsoring the summit and presenting two sessions during the conference.

This event has now taken place.

Brightwave's sessions:

Thursday 31st January
Summit theme:Learning and development to drive organisational change

Making learning at work alive, integrated and business-focussed
10.10 -10.40am

The shift in the nature of work towards knowledge and service industries requires learning to become part of most jobs. Equally, transformation and disruption in other sectors demands a flow of knowledge for better performance. Technology-enabled learning is an essential part of any transformation programme that requires learning to be pervasive, responsive and relevant. How can we support this flux?

Charles Gould, Managing Director at Brightwave, will explore ways that learning can become integrated with work to support better performance for the long term. Plus, hear how Lloyds Banking Group's learning transformation programme directly supports their business strategy drilling down to one major change case study for the organisation's call centre induction.

Friday 1st February
Summit theme: Meeting diverse learning requirements

Panel session - Formal learning vs. informal learning
12.20 - 13.00pm

Brightwave's Charles Gould will chair a panel debate where experts from Tesco, Barclays, Vodafone and Santander will explore the changing nature of learning.
