Swiss Re and Brightwave continue successful relationship
Ensuring everything is in its place through effective records management e-learning
Brightwave, the workplace communications, learning and performance specialist is to design and deliver an e-learning programme on records management for Swiss Re, the world's leading reinsurer. It continues Brightwave's successful preferred supplier relationship over the last 18 months on a variety of bespoke solutions.
The course, due to be rolled out globally across Swiss Re this summer, will highlight the importance of keeping company records and will explain the importance of records management and the consequences of failure.
Users will be led through the course by the main character 'Record', who will act as the learning guide during a mock lecture to an audience of characters as well as answering their questions on the subject. The innovative approach will look at basic information as part of the lecture then provide more detailed subject knowledge when the user is guided by Record to other parts of the course to extend on specific subject matter.
"Following previous projects during our supplier relationship with Brightwave we expected the high quality of design they have provided for this project" said Mauricio Hoffmann, Project Manager for Swiss Re Academy.
"Brightwave was able to translate our ideas. The introduction of characters to assist with learning will bring a new element to this course and to our users." said Deepa Vijayan, SME at Records Management, Swiss Re.
The course, which will take approximately 30 minutes to complete, will focus on all aspects of record management in order to comply with legislation. It will ensure the user understands how to create and segregate records, archive and dispose of records and define their own responsibilities and will include topics on record life cycle and the record management network. The course will also integrate with Swiss Re's Learning Management System.
"We are proud of the ongoing supplier relationship we have with Swiss Re and the ability this gives us to get into the minds of the users and create a learning experience with a lasting effect." said Charles Gould, Managing Director for Brightwave. "Taking innovative steps on new projects, especially when working within a supplier relationship ensures the content always remains fresh and engaging which is a key feature of our solutions."
