First Choice selects Brightwave for online Customer Service and Sales training

Using e-learning to reach over 3000 foreign exchange and travel consultants

First Choice, the leading international leisure travel company, has chosen to work with the UK's fastest-growing e-learning specialist, Brightwave, to create an engaging and compelling two-hour training programme. Designed to improve sales and customer service skills, the e-learning course will be rolled out to over 3000 employees.

"We chose Brightwave because we liked their style - approachable, adaptable and really willing to work with us," said Liz Bennett, Training and Development Manager for First Choice Retail. "When you embark on a large project like this, it is vital to choose a supplier that can demonstrate good relationship management skills as well as an understanding of your business and learning environment. Brightwave proved to us that they have the necessary expertise and experience to make the project a success."

The training programme will focus on the soft skills needed for effective customer management as well as the processes involved in foreign exchange transactions. By using e-learning, First Choice can deliver cost-effective training to staff located in the company's nearly 300 shops and holiday hypermarkets around the country, without them having to leave their desks to attend face-to-face training sessions. It also means that staff can access the training to refresh their memory whenever they like.
