Double e-learning award shortlist for Brightwave
10 September 2009
‘E-learning Development Company of the Year Award’
‘Best Learning Content for Private Sector Award with Sky’
Brightwave, has been shortlisted for two highly sought-after E-Learning 2009 /awards. The Brighton based company has been selected for the E-Learning Development Company of the Year Award and for Excellence in the Production of Learning Content in the Private Sector based on its recent work with Sky.
The production of learning content award nomination recognises Brightwave and Sky’s pioneering 'onboarding' portal called 'Get Up To Speed', which engages and motivates new starters to accelerate their time to target performance. Results of the e-learning programme have already exceeded stakeholder expectations and cut induction time by a quarter.
The nomination for e-learning's development company of the year award recognises the exceptional and measurable results that Brightwave has secured to help its client organisations learn, perform and transform. It also acknowledges how the company continues to exceed customer expectations.
Charles Gould, MD at Brightwave said: “Being short-listed for the E-learning Awards is a huge accolade for the highly talented team at Brightwave and the forward thinking shared with our clients. It’s very satisfying, and reassuring, to be recognised by industry peers and leaders as being at the forefront in delivering engaging and high impact e-learning and communication programmes. We are demonstrating how online training and employee engagement can achieve real business advantages.
“Having opened our new Scottish office and won several substantial clients in recent months, this year is proving to be significant for Brightwave!”
Winners within each category for the E-learning Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 12 November at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, Piccadilly, London.
