Brightwave expands to launch new sister-company
E-Learning Development Company of the Year launches Brightwave Enterprises to invest in new product development
Today, Brightwave - the E-Learning Development Company of the Year (E-Learning Awards 2009) - launches a new sister-company called Brightwave Enterprises. The new company will focus on developing and supporting new ‘ready-to-use’ learning and performance services. This announcement follows the recent successful launches of Brightwave’s Legal Risk E-Learning Service and Local Government E-Learning Service.
Brightwave Enterprises complements the company’s core business which continues to be dedicated to creating engaging, high quality and award-winning bespoke e-learning solutions. The two companies now offer a complete one-stop service with e-learning programmes and services to meet the needs of every organisation.
Charles Gould, Brightwave’s MD said: “We’re making a substantial investment in our current and emerging learning and performance services, essentially to meet the changing needs of learning at work. Successful learning services in the next decade will truly engage employees by creating the motivation and ability to learn and perform. There is an increasing priority for corporate learning services to deliver real business impact that can be seen and valued at a high level. The Brightwave group can help organisations make that transformation.
“The new company structure promises even better service for Brightwave customers. It will accelerate the delivery of new features and functionality and provide a complete, fully-managed one-stop service.” Gould concluded: “These are exciting times for the Brightwave group as we build our reputation as the number one e-learning company in the UK."
Services available from the newly formed Brightwave Enterprises include the recently launched and fully managed Legal Risk E-Learning Service which helps organisations stay compliant, simply and effectively, through a series of e-learning programmes aimed at non-lawyers.
Another new product is the Local Government E-Learning Service which allows every council to design its own user front-end while sharing knowledge and learning that's common to all, in a secure, user-friendly and engaging manner. Designed to meet the needs of local government, it helps councils avoid duplication and drive down costs. A range of new ready-to-use learning and performance services are also in development to be launched in 2010.
