Brightwave, E-Learning Development Company of the Year*, returns as a key sponsor at Learning Technologies in January (27-28) 2010 where it will show its new products: ‘The Local Government E-Learning Service’ and ‘Legal Risk E-Learning Service’. Learning Technologies is Europe’s leading showcase of organisational learning and technology to support learning at work.
Brightwave is also hosting two FREE best practice networking lunches on 27 and 28 January from 12.30 to 2pm for senior local government learning professionals wanting to investigate the latest learning solutions and shared working practices.
The Local Government lunch will help learning professionals understand how to use the latest e-learning techniques to get the most from their people, despite increasing financial pressure. It will be a chance to network with other local authorities to share ideas and experiences of using e-learning. Advice and case studies will be available over an informal networking lunch.
Brightwave’s Local Government E-Learning Service helps councils build capability and collaborate with experts, colleagues and other Councils to drive down costs. City of Edinburgh Council and the Clyde Valley Learning and Development Group (a collaboration of eight Councils) are among the Local Government organisations using this shared service.
The Local Government lunch is free and by invitation only. However senior HR and learning professionals in Local Government wanting to attend can email sam.brackley@brightwave.com.
Charles Gould, MD at Brightwave said: “We’re looking forward to discussing our latest products at Learning Technologies in January. There’s pressure on Local Government to reduce costs and maintain a strong commitment to workforce development. Our networking lunch at Learning Technologies will provide an essential learning opportunity.”
To attend one of the networking lunches at Learning Technologies, please email sam.brackley@brightwave.co.uk.
* Brightwave recently won the E-Learning Development Company of the Year Award at the E-Learning Awards 2009 in November.
