Brighton e-learning firms raise £1,025.30 for Chestnut Tree House
Charity rounders match raises awareness for children's hospice
Three of the UK's leading e-learning companies pitched themselves against each other last month for the Great e-Learning Rounders Match, collectively raising awareness and a total of £1,025.30 for Sussex Children's Hospice, Chestnut Tree House.
Chestnut Tree House, the only children's hospice in Sussex, cares for children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses from all over the county.
Teams from Brightwave, Capita and Futuremedia battled against each other with Brightwave scoring the highest number of rounders to win the inaugural match. The event, suggested and coordinated by Andrea Miles, Edvantage (formally Futuremedia) took place on 21 September as part of Children's Hospice Week.
"We are delighted to have raised this money for Chestnut Tree House in order to help them continue the excellent work they do." said Andrea Miles, Managing Director, Edvantage. "I would like to thank the teams and everyone for their support in raising the funds."
