PricewaterhouseCoopers introduces e-learning with e-learning

What better way to introduce the concepts of e-learning than through an e-learning application?

When PricewaterhouseCoopers Transform wanted to create an interactive e-learning course for both internal use and external sales, they chose to work with Brightwave. Brightwave’s Managing Director, Charles Gould, had worked extensively for PwC in the past as an e-learning consultant. Brightwave’s expertise was especially relevant as the subject of the course was to be e-learning itself; an introduction to the industry for people with no prior knowledge of the subject.

Using BILD*, Brightwave’s proprietary content development tool, PwC created two-and-a-half hours of material exploring the concepts and drivers behind e-learning, the processes involved in designing and deploying interactive courseware and a look at the future for e-learning with its staggering expectations for growth within the next two years.

Ask the experts

By adding an ‘Ask the experts’ feature to the programme we gave every user extended access to this expertise. Clicking on an expert’s picture automatically generates an email to that person – allowing you to ask them anything you like.

With opportunities for the learner to join on-line discussion forums, email questions to experts, consult a glossary of industry terms and ultimately test themselves on the material they have covered, Learn2eLearn is a perfect introduction to the world of e-learning and, by using the medium to explain the medium, provides a true feel for e-learning that goes beyond plain theory.

Peerless introduction to a fast-growing industry

Together with Brightwave and other experts that supplied development know-how and content, PwC could develop the programme in-house. This collaborative approach marries years of experience and subject knowledge expertise with the latest in online learning technology and methodology; a peerless introduction to one of the world’s fastest growing industries.
