T-Mobile UK Chooses Brightwave Again to Develop E-Learning to Support its Latest SAP Rollout

Date posted: Jan 2003

Activity Workbench Manager will further support the SAP roll-out; providing a cultural context for the new system and an opportunity for T-Mobile staff to practise using SAP modules before they use the live system. The web-based course simulates different areas of the SAP system and will function as a stand-alone training asset. It will be used as part of a blended approach to the training and will be preceded by a classroom awareness session.

This is fourth major project that Brightwave has completed for T-Mobile in the last 18 months. Previous projects have included awareness-raising multimedia communications and training on Employee Self Service and Manager’s Desktop.

T-Mobile, one of the world's leading mobile telecommunications companies, has employed these e-learning projects to deliver a number of key benefits:

  • They have helped staff to get up to speed quickly, by practising the new system and receiving detailed feedback before roll-out.
  • They have reduced the burden on classroom trainers.
  • They provide a consistent means of training and supporting all staff as they learn to use SAP properly.
  • They provide an instant source of learning for new joiners.

T-Mobile is delighted to be working with Brightwave:

“An enterprise-wide SAP roll-out is an enormous undertaking for any organisation. T-Mobile has recognised the role that e-learning can play in providing guidance and support to staff during major change. The new course we’re developing with Brightwave is a vital tool in facilitating that change,” said Matthew Harris , T-Mobile SAP Training Manager.
