Brightwave, the workplace communication, learning and performance specialist has recently made several new appointments to its team at its new central Brighton office as a result of continued project growth and expansion of existing client contracts.
Client management now has an additional Account Manager, Carl Mason, as well as Project Account Manager, Victoria Cooper. Richard Andrews and Elise Phillips have joined the team as Project Coordinators. The technical department is now headed by a new Technical Manager, Paul Burns, with the support of Network Support Technician, Simon Pitcher.

Carl Mason, Account Manager
Carl has over 14 years experience in the e-learning industry where his roles ranged from Strategic and Global Accounts Manager to Senior Learning Consultant. He joins Brightwave from Thomson NETg working with both public and private sector clients such as Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse, LogicaCMG, as well as numerous local and central government organisations.
Victoria Cooper, Project Account Manager
Following a successful career in the publishing sector, Victoria brings over 10 years Account and Project Management experience to Brightwave, where she will be working in a hybrid role as both an Account and Project Manager ensuring project success through the complete project life cycle.
Richard Andrews, Project Coordinator
Richard has over seven years development and support experience in the training and e-learning field and joins Brightwave from Academy Internet where he was a Project Manager. He has previously worked on projects for both the public and private sector including Fujitsu, The National Trust, Electrolux and The Home Office.
Elise Phillips, Project Coordinator
Elise has joined Brightwave following a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology bringing experience of coordinating and mentoring at Sussex University, plus administration at Pera International - a network of technology development and industry support centres. Working within the Project Management Team she will act as a liaison with clients at all stages of the project.
Paul Burns, Technical Manager
Paul has over 20 years’ experience in the technical field and joins Brightwave from Futuremedia where he was Development Manager, working with clients from both the public and private sectors including the Crown Prosecution Service, BUPA, Barclays and Royal Mail. Paul will have primary responsibility of overseeing Brightwave’s technical operations.
Simon Pitcher, Network Support Technician
Simon has spent three years working in the technical sector, most recently with a local IT organisation and will be responsible for providing technical support for Brightwave's suite of e-learning tools, as well as maintaining Brightwave’s networks and servers.
